FRIEDRICH FRITZ KREISLER

2nd February 1875 --- 29th January 1962

Fritz Kreisler was a Austrian violinist and composer, born in Vienna in 1875. At the age seven he was admitted to the Vienna Conservetoire
and in 1887 he won the Grand Prix on graduation from the Paris Conservetoire, where he studied under Massenet and Delibes.

In 1889 he made a successful tour of the United States, but then for some reason abandoned music for some years,  and he began studying
medicine and serving in the Austrian army as a officer in a Uhlan regiment.

His reappearance was on the concert stage in Berlin, March 1899, was followed by a tour of the United States and Great Britain in 1900-01,
and later he visited the chief musical centres of the world. On the outbreak of World War one in 1914, he rejoined his former regiment,  but
was wounded and discharged from service, thereafter resuming his musical career.

He published his war experience, Four weeks in the Trenches, in 1915. His compositions include a number of delightful pieces in the lighter
style for his  own instrument and Piano he  produce a effective string quartet  and operettas Apple Blossoms,   which  was produced in New
York city in 1919 and Sissy, in 1933.

Kreisler was well known to have composed a fair number pieces in the style of some very famous composers, like Beethoven and Mozart, (3
of the pieces below with which I have title unknown piece). Maybe some one could email and enlighted me.
