TIELMAN SUSATO

Around 1510 --- Around 1570

In Regards to Tielman Susato, the composer whose music below that Paul Hyman has transcribed, there is not a whole lot
known  about him.   He was born around 1510,  lived until  around 1569 or 1570,  and published several volumes  of works
including church music and the collection of dances called Danserye.

Susato also was  an accomplished composer,  He wrote, produce  and published books on church  masses and motets and a
collection of dances called "Danserye".  Also he later wrote  some books of chansons which  were mainly to be  sung by the
younger and less experience singers in the choir

My sincere thanks go to Paul Hyman for sending me the above bio information on Susato.
