WELTON RICHARD BARKER

Born  16thJuly 1958

I am sure you will enjoy this music from this talented composer.

Please note  Richard's  work is  copyrighted,  and is for   personal  downloading only,   please ask  permission  of the composer
before  any other  use. I think his old  email is  no  longer valid,  I last heard  from him  in  2006 but  you may  find him  with  a
google search.

The composer has sequence some very nice classical pieces for my site and has now donated this fine composion. He came over
to England a couple of times and I met up with him in 2005 and 2006 in Buxton, but I have since lost contact with him.

Studied music at Boston  University and Berklee College of Music in the 1970s.  Played and wrote for jazz, rock, and pop bands
in the 1970's and 1980's. Focused exclusively on classical composition and recital (piano) for the last 10 years.

No emphasis  on any particular style,  just trying to make something that  sounds bearable.  As Poulenc once said,  "I write my
least bad music in the morning".  Favorite composers:  Bach, Beethoven,  Brahms,  Liszt, Ravel,  Stravinsky--alphabetical order
not in order of preference!
