the age of 23.

He served for two years in the Border Police Simphony Band,  where he learned about European traditional and band music.  In

subject of improvised music  in the '70's, published by Mondadori.  Then it was in 1985, during the International  Art Workshop

His activity in film scoring started in 1983,  with moviemakers as  Lina Wertmuller and Roberto Benigni.  He did the soundtrack

music brought him to the peculiar chance of composing many station breaks for Arab countries' networks.

As an orchestrator and arranger Vittorini worked with many Top Of The Charts Italian songwriters and singers like Paolo Conte
Claudio Baglioni  and Gianni Morandi.  Through the past 10 years he has wrote several simphonic works and a short opera,  Oro
(Gold),  which has been recorded in Moscow in July 1992 and is next to be released on album soon.  Now one of Vittorini's latest
assignements  - besides movie  scoring - has  been the art direction  of Gershwin Tim Time,  a live TV Gala.  Among many  others
guest performances featured stars as Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, and Larry Adler. In October 1996 he has been a counsultant

movie and the arrangements for a set  of concerts with Claudio Baglioni and the Philarmonic Orchestra of Montecarlo,  which he
also had the pleasure of conducting.

He is currently writing an opera for Orchestra, Choir, Marching Band and, of course, soloists (This was in 1998, Steven).
