KARL JULIUS FRIDOLIN BRAUNGARDT

20th June 1829 --- 4th June 1866

Karl Julius Fridolin Braungardt was born on June 20, 1829, in Rohr near Meiningen, his father Georg Friedrich Braungardt was a pastor
and Braungardt came  from quite a large family and being the eldest,  he went and attended school in Meiningen which provided music
lessons which  started his interest in music,  he then became a musician. Later he moved to Frankfurt to further his musical career and
became a music teacher,  and began composing his own compositions,  one of his composition Waldesrauschen'  which became one his
best known works and is even proformed today and has appeared on CD Romantic Piano Compositions,  another piece which was quite
well known at the time Abendruhe.

Later on in his life he suffered from a mental illness  (Might have been depression),  sadly as a result he killed himself on June 4,  1866
in Soden near Frankfurt, he was only 37 years old.

The above was all the information I managed to find, and was taken from information provided by Gerhild Drescher.
