DIONISIO AGUADO

8th April 1784 --- 29th December 1849

I have a little information on Dionisio Aguado, that he was born in Madrid from a religious family
background and had always shown a early aptitude for the guitar and producing music pieces on
guitar for tutoring & playing which I think is still in print and use today.

After he had inherited his fathers estate he then spent many years mastering the guitar and music
and became a master player and also a very talented composer

Its rumoured that when he lived in Paris, he met his fellow composer Fernando Sor in around 1825.

He  composed Waltzes, light  pieces and minuets  as well as various techniques on  the guitar but it
took a number of years before he became famous for his musical talents, this did not happened until
he went to live in Paris around 1824.

He died in Madrid in Dec 1849 at the age of 65.

Below is a few examples of his work which I hope you will enjoy
