PAUL DECOURCELLE

1854 --- 1940

I am sorry but I could only find small amount of information on this composer.

Paul Decourcelle was a french romantic-era composer, music editor, and prominent publisher of popular light music. Based primarily in Nice,
but he use the Pseudonyms on the works he composed under the German-sounding pen name Heinrich Tellam, as well as Pierre  Vestane, he
maybe did this to get more sales for his works. The music I have sequenced, he composer under the name of Heinrich Tellam.

Paul Decourcelle was a composer mostly of polkas, marches,  and waltzes tailored to the cosmopolitan public visiting the French Riviera,  his
publishing company  produce a lot of works by well  known composers at that time like Ernest Gillet,  Alfredo D'Ambrosio and  G.Bonincontro
to name a few. He had the famous illustrator André Douhin to create the sheet music front covers.
